Cape Fear Community College New Student Orientation
Our New Student Orientation is designed to help you start your college journey with confidence and success. During orientation, you’ll receive important information about academic programs, campus resources, student support services, and how to navigate CFCC’s online systems. You'll also meet faculty, staff, and fellow students, giving you a chance to start building your campus community right away.
Orientation will cover:
Class registration guidance
Financial aid and payment information
Tips for academic success
Campus safety and student policies
Involvement opportunities and student life
By the end of orientation, you’ll feel better prepared to take on your first semester and make the most of your time at CFCC. Attendance is highly encouraged for all new students.

- Will there be check-in?
Yes, check-in will be at the Wilson Center (WA) and will begin at 9:30am. Please see our campus map here and look for WA.
- Where to park?
Parking will be available in the Hanover Parking Deck, you can enter the deck from Hanover St or 2nd St. Please see the campus map here.
- Can I stop by at any time?
Of course you're welcome to stop by at any time to participate in New Student Orientation, but there is an itinerary and you won't want to miss anything!

11:00 am - 11:30 pm- Friends & Family Q & A Panel
11:00 am - 12:00 pm- Breakout Session- Navigating MyCFCC
